Mark Stanton is the President of Schmid Dewland Associates. Mark comes from a sales and finance background and has worked at Schmid Dewland since 2000. His admiration for travel and different cultures is what drives his passion for our business as what is more diverse than food itself. Mark uses a transformational style leadership where the focus is on change, the future, and the people. This type of leadership brings out the best in everyone working in a TEAM atmosphere.
Brian Rae (Partner) is the veteran of the Schmid Dewland outside sales team, having been with the company for 26 years, and in the foodservice business for 36 years. Brian brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. Every time he enters a room, you will likely learn something you didn’t know about Foodservice Equipment.
John Gourdier is the “do it all man” of Schmid Dewland. John has 8 years experience with Schmid Dewland as a member of Schmid Dewland, he has forty-plus years of experience in the foodservice industry. John brings the cool calm demeanor to Schmid Dewland, and that is what you need, as there is not a situation John hasn’t been in before.
Matt Schmid is the third generation of his family to be an outside salesman at Schmid Dewland. His grandfather started the company, and both father and uncles have also worked here for the majority of their careers. Aside from doing whatever it takes to complete said task, Matt is also one of the most selfless people you will come across in our business. Those attributes make him the amazing husband and father in which his wife and children have come to know him.
Chef Mike Medycki has been putting that magic flavor touch on food at a restaurant near you for 30-plus years. Mike has made a seamless transition to sales and support, given his ability to speak ‘culinary,’ as well as his experience and understanding of restaurant ownership. Mike’s top-notch preparation, and organizational skills have been welcoming and inspiring to our team at Schmid Dewland.
Zachary Demchyk is a 2022 addition to our team. He comes to us after years on the manufacturer side, serving as regional sales manager, in addition to time in foodservice franchising. His equipment background lies in refrigeration and engineered systems, focusing on the consultant and end-user segments. Zachary is passionate about small business and is humbled to be on Team Schmid Dewland. He understands the ‘business side of food;’ strongly upholding the pillars of integrity and human experience with every customer interaction.
Lisa Castano is the office manager at Schmid Dewland. She has twenty years plus of work dedicated to Schmid Dewland, and over 30 years in the foodservice business. Lisa tends to bring her best to the workplace and uses her tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. Lisa is inspired daily by her husband, two children, and three grandkids.
Brandon MacDonald joined Schmid Dewland, and the foodservice equipment business in 2016 after stints in sales, and hospitality. Brandon’s admiration for food, through his travels, has piqued his interest in learning about the equipment side of the business. He brings a passion for computers, technology, and finance to our team. Using those traits, Brandon has become an integral part of our inside sales team.
