Sales & Experience Manager

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Sales & Experience Manager (SEM) within the SDA organization for Mafsi territory #5 (MD, DC, VA). The SEM will be responsible for driving specification and sales of culinary equipment in a newly expanded market – the MAFSI 5 region (VA, MD, Wash DC). This includes building and leveraging decision-maker relationships, implementing sales strategies, managing customer experience, internal team collaboration and providing meaningful contributions toward TEAM sales targets. Day-to-day activities also include leading support for targeted specifiers, key dealers and priority accounts, as well as partnering and participating in industry organizations which service the sectors in which we target.

The role involves routine travel to clients and jobs sites throughout the Region, and well as periodic travel outside the territory to factory trainings and trade shows. Ideal candidates will have existing specifier and sales channel relationships within the market.

 

Professional Growth

 

– Take ownership or Market Segments and/or Geographic area for focused development

– Become a recognized expert in segment-specific solutions

– Traveling to attend factory training as a means of becoming a trusted product expert

– Shadow team on sales calls, culinary demos, end user site visits, and other training events

Territory Growth & Support Manager

Role Description

We are excited to offer full-time remote role for a Territory Growth & Support Manager (TGSM) within the SDA organization. The TGSM will be responsible for driving new business opportunity for sales of commercial culinary equipment in a newly expanded market – the MAFSI 5 region (VA, MD, Wash DC). The TSGM will work in tandem with the Sales & Experience Manager (SEM) to support overall brand visibility, sales growth and customer experience goals.

This includes calling on targeted end-user segments to drive visibility and interest, as well as driving incremental growth by building and leveraging relationships within industry-established sales & distribution channels, as well as other tactical initiatives to provide meaningful contributions toward TEAM sales targets.

Day-to-day activities also include supporting culinary equipment demos, maintenance of key dealers and priority accounts, ‘warm’ calling targeted segments of end users, leading ‘call to action’ and territory-wide marketing efforts (including social media), and immersing oneself into the industry associations which service the sectors in which we target.

Customer Experience Specialist

Role Description

We are excited to offer full-time in-person role for a Customer Experience Specialist (CES) within the SDA organization. The CES will be responsible for a variety of functions tied to daily sales operations, focused on Process Management. This position is an incremental addition to existing operations, supporting and will be based at our home Culinary Center in Marlton, NJ.

This position’s day-to-day includes:

          Quoting projects (contract and replacement) for our dealer communities

          Communication with manufacturers and local equipment dealers regarding outstanding Quotes and Purchase Order statuses

          Leading efforts for Training and Service Request Dispatches

          Acting as Lead problem solver for a variety of sales-related situations without immediately clear answers

          Collaborate to support other SDA TEAM members (as will they for you). We are a TEAM.

          Supporting other tactical initiatives to provide meaningful contributions toward TEAM sales targets.

The role does require infrequent travel outside the territory, mainly for factory-hosted meetings and trainings. Ideal candidates may have existing sales channel relationships within the market.

          Experience in Customer Service, Project or Process Coordination, Sales Administration or Operations—preferably in the food service industry.

          Strong organizational skills and attention to detail – with a Process-focused mentality.

          Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

          Strong ability to follow up and follow-through, while adapting to varying personality types

          Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in deadline-driven circumstances

          Desire to work in-person in our Culinary Center in Marlton, NJ

          Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Culinary Arts, Communication, or related field

Preferred skillsets

          Familiarity with building and equipment specifications, specifically the CSI Master Format section 11400,

          Technical aptitude to read and understand commercial kitchen layouts and equipment specifications

          Experience with AutoQuotes SaaS quoting platform

          Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM/ERP

          Knowledge of Foodservice Equipment distribution channels

          Ability to analyze processes to provide constructive feedback for internal process improvement
